DeLaval MyFarm facilitates the delivery of data from your Voluntary Milking System (VMS) via push notifications to your iPhone or iPad. These alerts are designed to appear even when the application is running in the background. However, it is important to note that notifications will not be delivered if the device is engaged in a phone call while not connected to a Wi-Fi network. In such cases, notifications will be received once the call has concluded, assuming the device remains offline from Wi-Fi.

Notification settings are configured within the DelPro System and encompass various categories, including:

• Cow-specific information such as:
  • Cow traffic
  • Teat positions
  • Milk Drying Index (MDI) levels
  • OCC levels
• System deviations, including:
  • Communication between VMS and tank
  • Communication between VMS and DelPro software
  • Cleaning status
  • Operational runtime

Within the app, users can navigate through historical alerts and review detailed information by selecting individual notifications. It is also possible to configure 'silent hours', during which alerts are suppressed—for example, between 22:00 and 06:00—preventing disturbances during nighttime. It is important to emphasize that critical alerts, such as stop alarms, will still be delivered regardless of silent mode activation.

The application offers several functionalities, including:

• Displaying alerts from VMS, OCC, DelPro, and tank systems
• Dismissing active alerts
• Accessing up to 42 stored notifications in history
• Selecting from 29 available languages for alert notifications
• Configuring silent periods with specified start and end times

To operate correctly, certain prerequisites must be met:

• VMS Baseline version 6.3 or higher
• DelPro Software version 4.3 SP1 or later
• VC 5751 hardware model
• MS SW 16.1
• A secure internet connection employing DeLaval Remote Farm Connection (RFC) for push notification delivery and real-time alert access
• Notification settings within the SC/VC system must be configured by a certified DeLaval VMS Service Technician or another authorized DeLaval technician to ensure proper functionality.
